As I keep working on my experiment of native vibe coding for iOS, Mobiledex is at a point where it is able to make changes to itself and push to CI. This particular reaction of it wanting more made me laugh.

I have been using lots of tools to help get Mobiledex into shape in such a small amount of time. There’s Codex itself, of course. But OpenClaw has done a lot (autonomously) for me too!
Here’s a neat fact about Mobiledex: it uses part of the Codex open source code in the form of an XCFramework.
It also has Git for all version control needs because I wasn’t happy using alternative means to bring in/send out projects.
Finally! We have Codex on the ChatGPT app!
But what if you want to do simple changes directly on the phone without a computer? That’s what I asked myself and have been playing with the idea. I call it Mobiledex (working app name).

It’s been a while!
I have released a brand new app called Today Notes for both iOS and Mac that focuses on what could be called ephemeral, daily notes. You can check it out here: apps.apple.com/app/id162…
